Adam Tompkison is a Frame-Maker by Trade. He creates a diversity of frames for Museums and Commission, emphasizing the value of craftsmanship.
Growth in his craft is also reflected in the progression of his artwork. Alongside framing, he creates custom pieces such as furniture and lanterns using frame cutoff and used skateboards.
His precision work is most notably visible in The San Francisco Museum of Art’s Framed Exhibitions from 2022 til present. While studying Preservation Framing at the MOMA, he has developed recognition for his finished woodworking. He is most proud and passionate to create work that speaks to his culture, and is not only functional but meaningful.
Adam welcomes commissions including framing, furniture & upcycled skateboard art. For inquiries please reach out via email.
